Michelle Yi, who participated in season 16 of the TV reality show “Survivor,” was attacked outside a Santa Monica pilates studio. On Thursday morning at 6 AM, Yi was heading to teach a pilates class, and suddenly out of nowhere, a mysterious woman, who was reported to be missing from Fresno, assaulted Michelle Yi. She was hit by a woman with a metal pole. Moreover, the mysterious woman also stabbed Yi with a knife, based on the reports of local police. The attacker, who was taken into custody before, had been said missing in Fresno and also she was not on her prescribed medications during the attack, police say. The attacker was identified as Alexandria Diaz, who is 25 years old and she also has been linked to other pairs of attacks as well.

Finally, Michelle Yi was taken to a hospital and doctors say that she can expect a full recovery. As of now, Investigators have no valid information to determine if Yi’s attack was a hate crime, but the investigation is still going on. People who live and work in the area where the attack took place were stunned by the incident and they say that everyone should always be on guard.
